Pastor J. (yep, his legal name is just one letter) has served as pastor of FBT since August, 2011. He is a graduate of Clarks Summit University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Specialized Christian Ministry and holds a Master of Arts in Bible from Baptist Bible Seminary. Pastor J. has been married to Erin since 2006 and they have 4 children: J.J., Grace, Justus, and Joy.

Pastor J. has a passion for the local church, believing that church is a ministry where we all need to be growing in our love for God and for one another in deliberate community. He believes that these things happen through discipleship, intentional Christian fellowship, and most of all the preaching of God’s Word.

Pastor J. is an active member of the BaYouCa camp board and serves as logistic coordinator for the Wilderness Institute for Leadership Development (W.I.L.D.). He also is an avid outdoorsman. He loves hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and competitive shooting

Pastor Steve has served as associate pastor of FBT since June, 2022. He is a graduate of Cedarville University with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Bible and a Master's of Education in Educational Administration. Steve has been married to Kristen since 2007 and they have 2 children: London and Calvin.

Steve has a passion for the local church and oversees our children's and educational ministries, along with other areas of FBT with J.. He desires for all members of the church to grow in spiritual maturity and to entrust the faith to others (2 Timothy 2:1-2).

Steve is also a missionary with Baptist Church Planters. He is an associate revitalizer and is currently serving part-time as the missionary pastor at Constantia Center Baptist Church. You can learn more about Steve's missionary endeavors on their website: wynnmissions.com

In his free time, he enjoys reading, game nights, hiking, Star Wars, time with friends and church family, deep conversations, and playing Legos with his kids.
